Hobo Run

I would like to salute all those that took part in the Hobo Run, finically and by direct participation. I want to give a greater thanx to all those that helped us out finically, without your contribution less people would have had a warm blanket or something hot to fill an empty stomach. I am not going to mention names, but you know who you are. For everyone that helped us with the preparations and the final hand out. Daantjie (Leeuloop), Heinn, Sue , Zakkie, Lyn, Yolanda & Jaco. Thanx a million.

Quick breakdown.
We started with the food early on Friday night and luckily we did since we almost did not finish. 6:15AM we left the house and drove into the cold morning. 7:20AM we were back home. Altogether it took 65 min to help 75 people. Most of us did not sleep the previous night and the rest of us sacrificed sleeping in on Saturday. But it was worth it.

A few plastic bags that contained some personal stuff  ,a blanket and if they were lucky, a pillow. This is their lives. Its all they have. That feeling that you get when helping someone that really needs help and that appreciates it, cant be fully explained in words you have to experience it yourself to know what it feels like. So I challenge you to joins us for the next HOB RUN.
